Obama makes a bold statement about police before knowing all the facts and admits it in this video.
What he didn’t know is that the police were dealing with an arrogant professor named Henry Gates who became unruly because he could not prove that it was his home and that is why he got arrested. At the time, there were several home break ins in Gates neighborhood.
Gates was coming home from the airport around midnight when he realized he misplaced his keys and wallet. Gates attempted to go through his window of his own home when police responded to a neighbors call about a possible break in, not knowing it was Gates.
Who acted stupidly? Gates! It could have all been avoided if he proved his identity.
