Paris Knife Attack

The knife attacks committed on Thursday at the Paris police
headquarters, which killed four people and wounded many others, were a
terrorist act. The antiterrorist section of the Paris judicial police
has officially taken over the investigation by the national
antiterrorist prosecutor’s office of Paris.
Mickaël H., a computer specialist from the prefecture, had bought his
knife, equipped with a ceramic blade of 33 cm, the same morning.
According to a source familiar with the case, the investigations
revealed that he sent his wife an SMS mentioning this purchase shortly
before taking action. She answered in substance: “Only God will judge
you”. At least one of the victims was slaughtered.
The perpetrator of the events was also the subject of a “report”
after the attack against Charlie Hebdo committed in January 2015.
