No Atheists
In A Foxhole

Rudyard Kipling

" “When you're left wounded on
Afganistan's plains and

the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle

and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur

" “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”

“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.”
“Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace,
for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .”
“The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

Indian Naval ships visit Malaysia
Sunday, September 15, 2019
INS Kiltan
How dare Israeli weapons come into Malaysia?
VISAKHAPATNAM: As a part of the country’s policy, ships of the Indian Navy’s Eastern Fleet are on an operational deployment to the South China Sea, South East Asia and the East China Sea. Eastern Fleet Flag Officer Commanding Rear Admiral Suraj Berry embarked on board one of the ships. Indigenously designed and frontline warships of Eastern Fleet, INS Sahyadri, a stealth frigate and INS Kiltan, an anti-submarine corvette, arrived at Kota Kinabalu on Thursday on a five-day visit to Malaysia.
Indian Naval ships would operate with the Royal Malaysia Navy towards strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing interoperability between the navies of two friendly nations. The ships will be participating in Samudra Lakshmana, Indian Navy-Royal Malaysian Navy bilateral exercise. Read it all here.............
KOTA KINABALU: Markas Pemerintahan Armada Timur menerima sebuah aset baharu, Kapal Diraja (KD) Kelantan dalam usaha memperhebat kawalan keselamatan perairan negeri ini. More here...................
The mismatch in Capability of INS Sahyadari stealth frigate and INS Kiltan ASW corvette with OPV KD Kelantan. First the Msian vessel is outmatched on every parameter. Its sensors namely Radar, Sonar and ESM are of short range, low capability Secondly it has 1 x 76mm Oto Melara gun and 1 x 30mm Breda Mauser gun. 76mm Effective range is around 8km. No real CIWS (close in weapon system to defend against incoming missiles, aircraft etc).
A Decoy System, No Missiles, No ASM i.e.No Underwater warfare capability. No anti ship or anti air ability beyond 8km. One Helicopter. Its really an anti pirate...fishery protection vessel with limited offensive/defence capability. Max speed 24knots range 6000nautical miles at 12knots. Glorified patrol boat with over priced price tag. INS Sahyadari and INS Kiltan carry Brahmos and Klub missiles respectively both are supersonic anti ship and land attack missiles with range of 290km and 220km respectively.
Anti Aircraft/ Anti Missile Barak 1 and SAM Sthil 1 systems with engagement envelope of 8km and 15km. (Soon the upgraded Barak 8 LRSAM system with a range of 70km+ will be installed). Both vessels carry a potent ASW hull mounted sonar, towed array sonar and torpedos n Also carry 2 Helicopters for ASW and Anti Shipping Operations. 2 x CIWS 30mm rotary cannons. ASW rockets. RADARS N SENSORS INCLUDE the Elta Star system and another 2 x Elta Radar 2221 fire control units.
The integrated combat information centre onboard is very advanced. The Electronic Warfare, Sonar and Decoy systems well integrated. Frankly its like comparing a bicycle with a 1500cc Kawasiki motor bike. What kind of exercise is the RMN undertaking? Sepanga Bay nearby with our 2 maintenance plagued and no longer state of art scorpene submarines...Msia used to have a naval capability. The Jebat class corvettes are harbour queens...Mat Sabu and Mahatir need to explain how are we to protect our maritime resources...even now we lose more then usd 3Billion + due to illegal fishing by outsiders!
The KD Maharaja Lela etc as their names indicate are high priced low capability vessels..imagine we name our latest naval ships after a slave driver who murdered an Englishman whilst he was bathing! Slave trader...
