Jihad Watch : Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó “has now come out against
the new Italian leftist coalition government, stating that the borders
of Europe were safer when Matteo Salvini was in office.”
Szijjártó is right. Two months ago, Libyan leader Fayez al-Sarraj threatened the EU with 800,000 more migrants; Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
also vowed to flood Europe with more migrants. Italians have every
reason for concern, given the fact that the new government intends to
fling open the doors to Muslim migration, a move that was fiercely
opposed by Salvini.
His opposition continues. Days ago, Salvini addressed
a crowd of 80,000 and called for an immigration referendum. He promised
to trigger referendums “to block the new leftist coalition from opening
Italy’s borders to mass migration.”
Despite the collapse of the populist coalition of the Five Star
Movement and Salvini’s Lega League, Salvini still remains popular among
