“No community should be held responsible for the actions of extremists.” Of course. No innocent people should ever be held responsible for
actions they had nothing to do with. All too often, however, the claim
is made that honest analysis of the ideological and doctrinal roots of
jihad violence in Islamic texts and teachings is tantamount to
scapegoating the entire Muslim community and holding it responsible for
the actions of a few.
This is actually not the case, any more than an
honest analysis of the Nazi ideology as the cause for the violence of
the Brownshirts and the SS was holding all Germans responsible for the
actions of a few. But the OIC wants to sow this confusion, and has been
quite successful in doing so, in pursuit of its ultimate goal of
silencing all criticism of Islam, in accord with Sharia blasphemy
