An Iranian stabbed a German woman on the street on Monday morning. The victim died in a hospital shortly after the knife attack. The police are searching for the perpetrator, whom they now know is an immigrant from Iran.
They have already searched the apartment, but have not found the man. A Special Task Force (SEK) was in action.
A police spokeswoman said that the woman’s injuries were so severe that she died in a hospital just under two hours after the crime. The police did not want to reveal the age of the woman, but she was a young woman.
The perpetrator is apparently with the murder weapon, a knife, on the run, the police could not find it at the scene. A murder investigation has begun, the spokeswoman continued. He was not found in his apartment in Bilk district. The apartment had been searched. A Special Task Force (SEK) also provided support.
An eyewitness recounted that at around 7.30 am the victim had run screaming across the creek and called for help — pursued by a man who was screaming loudly.
