Rudyard Kipling"
āWhen you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldierā
General Douglas MacArthur"
āWe are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.ā
āIt is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.ā āOld soldiers never die; they just fade away.
āThe soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.ā
āMay God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .ā āThe object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
āNobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
āIt is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Non Muslims should NOT contribute to Hope Fund as the Malaysian Income Taxation is Apartheid like
Saturday, June 02, 2018
Malaysiakini : Tabung Harapan Malaysia (THM) is meant to prevent fundraising scams by
providing an official channel for contributions, the special officer to
the finance minister, Ong Kian Ming, said. Ong also chastised those who criticised the people who donated to the
fund, stating: āIf you don't like the idea, it's fine. Don't contribute
to the Tabung. āI don't think anyone will hold it against you. But you also don't
need to criticise others who want to contribute to this fund,ā he said. Ong Kian Meng, I want to criticise this effort, Tabung Harapan Malaysia, the dire straits we are in was caused by the corrupt majority.
I would like Lim Guan Eng and Ong Kian Meng to be fair to the Malaysian Non Muslims and Bumiputra Non Muslims too. When a Non Muslim donates to his religious body, he will probably get a government tax exemption receipt. Say RM1,000. That amount will be deducted from the principal amount and what ever remains will be calculated for the tax payable.
For a Muslim who pays Zakat, say RM1,000 that amount will be deducted from his taxable amount. That's not fair. A Non Muslim faces "double taxation. Why? The Muslims have unlimited access to Public Universities even with mediocre and pathetic results largely funded by tax paying Non Muslims, not forgetting institutionalized racism. You see Zakat contributions are only for the benefit of Muslims. Without access to Public Universities, the Non Muslim parents have to fork out indecent amounts of their blood sweat and tears to give their children a future in this country.
If Zakat is only for Muslim Institutions, I guess medical funding too is from Non Muslims for Government hospitals. You continue calling out to the Non Muslims to sacrifice for the country, like they haven't in your moment of euphoria and elation. Lim Guan Eng and Ong Kian Meng, just come down to earth and smell the shit, where we have been and still are. You have the powers to change our system of taxation. The system of taxation here is what I am talking about.
Below is a sample of income tax which I downloaded via e-hasil.
I toyed with it, placing the Non Muslim and the Muslim income and
relief exactly the same. Since the Non Muslim does not pay Zakat, I had
him pay RM1,000.00 as a donation exactly the same amount as the Muslim
pays for Zakat. I based this on my donation to an old folks home, with a
official tax exemption receipt. Look at page 2/8 where the Non Muslim pays RM1,000.00 as a donation in the Non Muslim Income Tax return, the RM1,000.00 is deducted from the principal sum. The scheduled monthly deductions are RM8,000. He is taxed RM8551.00. He has to pay an additional RM551.00. Look at the Muslim Income Tax return he gets back RM208.92 as cukai terlebih bayar! . Is that fair? When both the Non Muslim and the Muslim get the same pay.
So I say to you amend our tax system so that everyone is on an equal footing. Don't give me the crap about special privileges, aren't the Non Muslim Bumiputras not entitled to that too? Or are they just plain second class Bumiputras? They should only contribute to TBH when the system is equal and fair to all Malaysians, not asking for much, am I?
