Any chance of a similar personality in our cabinet? Contrast with a non English speaking ..Indon born..with a 230mil question mark!
Is our little (But Big ) neighbour mired in corruption..mired with a stagnant economy..a huge Debt burden..running on deficit..slumping currency...a nation divided by race , religion and inequities...when the real challenges are not addressed but focused on how to address the Almighty.
More treasure wasted on a bunch of people who are more enmeshed in intifadas then nation building... Is our neighbour having an illegal migrant problem? And is already a developed state..with an armed service much much more advanced then ours...able to arm twist to get returned strategic railway land...ensure water is supplied cheaply..foreign reserves far far ahead of us...has the protection of a super power..whilst we whistle in the wind about O I Cee type support.
One has risen from humble beginnings..the other has squandered its people s talents n natural resources n continues...Anybody know which of many steep cliffs our decrepit wagon is lurching towards? MSA was split into MAS n SIA in the early 70s..I still recall that split..I was in primary school..today one is a sick and poor performer with leased planes.the other a leading world class company ...with the youngest n most modern fleet.
One has nil to negligble reserves..lives of tax payer handouts, bailouts and inefficiency..the other has reserves greater then the GDP of some developing nations...flies profitably to almost every destination...Frankly ...How Did We Screw up this Badly? I haven't even touched upon the quality of our schools n institutions of higher learning..the quality of our publuc health care...the standard of safety n welfare of our citizens.
Crime statistics..the perception of a fair n efficient legal system..trampoline welfare safety net...here..what net for 35% of its popn.? Corruption index...are we even in the same Ball park? As Msian citizes...high time to stand up n Ask the Questions...can the Politicians in power since 1957 give us an Answer...? Heck its 60 years tomorrow since these people started this down slide...
