No Atheists
In A Foxhole

Rudyard Kipling

" “When you're left wounded on
Afganistan's plains and

the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle

and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur

" “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”

“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.”
“Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace,
for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .”
“The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

Dr M allowed in as he didn't talk on politics, says navy
Monday, April 29, 2013
From Malaysiakini

Abdul Aziz. should not treat the officers like mentally challenged kids and think they are ignorant and stupid, he might have a heart attack, after 5th May 2013. History will judge whether he was appointed to that position based on merit or mediocrity, that time is soon. We have to question his logic on the purchase of the Scorpene submarines, when he said, " So as not to experience the repeat of the Portuguese invasion of Malacca in 1511". He is the last person on earth who should be defending "Our Great leader". He should spend time pondering how he and the Navy screwed up in the defence of the Sabah coast, where their utter failure allowed the invasion by the Sulu terrorists, compromising the sovereignty of our country. Whatever happened to your mighty boast about not repeating the invasion of Malacca?

Bernama, navy chief Abdul Aziz Jaafar said this when justifying why Mahathir was permitted into the naval base to speak to some 2,000 personnel there, while First Admiral (Rtd) Mohamad Imran Abdul, who had spent 37 years serving at the base, was not allowed in the next day. Mohamad Imran is the PKR candidate for the Lumut parliamentary seat. "Former prime minister Mahathir was allowed in because he did not talk about politics. He came here to talk about solidarity while Ahmad Zahid Hamidi came here in his capacity as the (caretaker) defence minister,” the national news agency quoted Abdul Aziz as saying "But for Imran, I'm sure he will talk on politics, interspersed with slander, and will anger the personnel here... we don't want any agenda to be brought in that will divide the people," he said.

Of course Mahathir violated the Elections Act abusing Government Facilities, whilst visiting the Lumut Naval Base, which the Chief of Navy conveniently ignores.

What Navy chief Abdul Aziz Jaafar had done and the disrespect shown to First Admiral (Rtd) Mohamad Imran Abdul,Caretaker Najib TAKE NOTE, you have just LOST LUMUT. You can be assured that, we, 70% of ex-navy in Lumut will vote for First Admiral (Rtd) Mohamad Imran. Not only that, now words have gone to all ex-navy around the country to vote for PR and also to get all our bros in ex-army and Air force to joint us. If your Navy Chief can do this to a Flag Officer...then we the lower rank will be worse.

Navy chief Abdul Aziz Jaafar, you got NO CLASS compare to our former first CNS Bob Thana and CNS Bakar Jamal (who screwed the great Samy Valu then minister of works, for poor workmanship and blaming the damage building at the training base in Johor were cause by our sailors) This is what we call he got balls, mate, while you have NONE.
