(
London) In 1997, the socialist Labour Party won the UK General Election and set about implementing changes to the UK which it felt would lead to a much fairer society.
One was the opening of the UK borders, which since 1997 has led to around 6 million people coming to the UK without any checks made on them whatsoever. Another was signing up to the European Human Rights Act. However, while that isn't such a bad thing, how it is interpreted in the UK is another. Which is why we have murderers (and Al-Qaeda terrorists) in the UK whom we can't deport because of their human rights.
But the one aspect of Labour's ruinous reign I wish to talk about is benefits. Labour, whilst in power (and even now out of power), felt that poverty is the root of all evil, and if they can abolish it, then everybody will be happy. So what they did was hand out money to anybody who wanted it. In fact, so eager were they at handing out money to so called worthy causes that in 2008/9 social security benefits cost the
Exchequer £150.1 billion. In the same year, gross income tax receipts were £152.5 billion. Want to know how the UK spends so much? Here's a classic example:
34-year-old single mother of 10 (
fathered by four ex-partners) Moira Pearce lives in Gillingham Kent (
around 30 miles from London). She lives in a 3-bedroom house paid for by the taxpayer, has never worked and receives £31,200 a year in state benefits (
this is on top of the free house). She is currently saying that she cannot get by on £31K a year and is going around the area asking charities if they can help her out.
The thing, this woman isn't a one off, there are thousands of young women in UK who are single and who push out children on a yearly basis shttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifimply to collect benefits. Where normal working people work in which to earn money, these idiots lie on their backs and think of England. This culture of breeding for money without a male role model in the home has lead to a generation of feral children who have no sense of community, law and order and who are taught by the liberal classes that the reason they are poor is because of rich people. Which is why they have no problem stealing what they want because they feel they are simply getting back what was stolen from them in the first place.
The irony here is the Socialists who enacted this policy of trying to eradicate poverty in the UK by simply handing over money willy-nilly (in the UK, they used to pay children
£30 a week to go to school) have not only made the problem worse but they have actually made it bigger.Hat tip:
