Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Paki Muslims whining, that the Infidel USA isn't giving enough aid
Sunday, August 22, 2010
These same whiners are terror supporters from the epicenter of terrorism. (Pakistan) After the Indian Ocean tsunami, the first nation to hit the ground running with aid was the US. After the earthquake in Haiti in January, the first nation to hit the ground running was... the US. In fact, when it comes to helping others, the US is not only the first to provide aid but is usually the first on the scene with the equipment needed to help the people in need. But the thing is, for all the largess of the USA and the private aid given by it people, the people who have been hit by these natural calamities always complain about the US having an ulterior motives for helping others. You know, like how Malaysia, Indonesia and Afghanistan accused the US of linking aid with proselytizing. Yeah, it would be a great idea to proselytize, if they can why not others, they never lack in double standards-edit.
Which brings me to this story about how the Pakistani people (who before the recent floods were one of the biggest recipients of US aid in the world (and that's not including the military aid), have started to openly protest about how the US isn't doing enough for them. Yes, the country which has given the most aid, which has more transport helicopters in theatre than anybody else (with more on the way), is getting bitched about by the locals because they feel the US isn't doing enough. Now, I understand how desperate people can vent their frustrations, yet these are the people who pour onto the streets in their thousands in which to protest against America. You know, where they burn the US flagsand defend those who kill Americans.
Yes, that Islamic staple of biting the hand that feeds you is plainly in shown here. Yet for some strange reason, these people who have practically ethnically cleansed their country of other faiths, aren't thrusting their begging bowls to their fellow religious cohorts but rather at those they hate the most. Yes, the country which openly persecutes Christians is demanding more aid from... Christians.
But get this: have a look at the chart of the top ten donors to Pakistan and see where the US fares in the aid tables. Now, how many Islamic countries do you see there? Now have another look at the Saudi bar, notice something about the status of their aid.

And yet the number one excuse used by Muslims for the reason why terrorism exists is because they say the West has an agenda of robbing Islamic lands blind, keeping Muslims poor and oppressing them. Yet the top ten actual givers of Aid are all non-Islamic. (The Saudis have pledged and not given any aid.)
Maybe it's time we start to apply conditions to our aid (Note: I am not saying we refuse aid), such as equality for women and Christians. If they don't like that then I am sure that the Islamic world will help their fellow brothers with the aid they require. Hat tip: Eye On The World
