Will "other" Malaysians get to enjoy these PSD schoarships. Will there be transparency on who is getting these scholarships? Will the taxpayers get to have their children sponsored overseas by the PSD? Why not have the list of names published to see how many politicians children get the scholarship? Good idea, and also to check how many outstanding second class Malaysian children get the benefits after all their parents pay taxes too. The following is an extract from 'The Star',Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed said. “Don’t be disappointed because scholarships to study locally are available from various sources such as the PSD and corporate companies".
In March, PSD corporate communications unit chief Hasniah Rashid said the department received 12,497 applications for the 1,800 overseas scholarship awards on offer.
The source. If there is a sudden increase of PSD scholarships this year, for the second class Malaysians that means it is an election bait to fish for votes from the second class Malaysians. This is a reminder not to swallow that bait. As it will be back to normal for the following 5 years!!!
On a further note, look who is talking, "The Maybank issue, which created controversy and drew much criticism, should be a lesson to all Malaysians, Education Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said".
The Star. Like they say a leopard does not change his spots. He is trying to back paddle out of shit creek, he knows that he will not be getting any votes from the right thinking Malaysians and the second class Malaysians. Until now no remorse shown by him. That incident is not "basi", it will be kept fresh in the minds of all right thinking Malaysians. Just like his cousin... What did Najib do in 1987? A Government White Paper entitled “Towards Preserving National Security” tabled in Parliament on 23rd March 1988 recorded that in an Umno Youth rally led by Najib on 17th October 1987, banners bearing strong words were displayed, including one which said: “SOAK IT (KRIS) WITH CHINESE BLOOD”.
Lim Kit Siang . So I say again "Leopards do not change their spots". He has yet to say sorry, guess sorry is a very hard word for leopards.
Oh yes, the poodles of UMNO have suddenly found their cajones after Ijok. Maybank has come under fire from MCA vice-president Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek for its requirement to law firms that it must have at least three bumiputra partners, one of whom must have a 50% stake, before these firms can do any
business with the bank. Yes, they need to do this, they know that their game is up, it is a matter of time before they are ignored by all, the slide has already started, Ijok is staring them in the eye.
Educational standards in Malaysia are already in the gutter, the Einsteins at the Ministry of Education want to do away with exams at the lower education level. Responding to a proposal by the Malaysian Examinations Syndicate (these guys must be under the purview of Hisham) that both public examinations be abolished in 2012 and 2015 respectively, parents said that the
UPSR and PMR were still needed. Guess when you vote for dumbasses, these are some of the repercussions, so when you vote, use your ballot "unwisely".
